It’s called collaborative painting – two highly respected, classically trained artists with distinctly different styles painting live on the same canvases. Lisa Ober’s work is internationally recognized for its exquisite realism and fine detail. Henryk Ptasiewicz, one of the region’s most respected colorists uses bold, broad brush strokes with unexpected color palettes. Their creative energy is positively contagious.
Two outstanding artists with blank canvases and clean brushes. Henryk fills his canvas with color, while Lisa blocks out her subject. In round two Lisa approaches the portrait of Vincent Price with some detail. Henryk spends round two on the portrait of Sam Elliott Shared colors Lisa and Henryk switch back to their original canvases for round three. Henryk finishes the portrait of Vincent Price. Lisa works on the finishing touches of that famous moustache Nell and Lisa with the finished portrait of Sam Elliott Nell and Henryk with the finished portrait of Vincent Price.
And the rest is history! There are two new portraits in the Ober/Ptasiewicz collaborative collection.
